Hercules
Hercules is a approximately 4 year old apricot fawn English Mastiff.  He came into Rescue with his brother, Goliath.  Both of these boys had never been out of their kennel or off their property.

Hercules and his brother came into rescue together having never been inside a house, off their property, not even really outside their kennel area. They have come a long ways. They are both house trained, living with inside cats, and 5 other dogs in foster. Hercules is pretty much ready to go. He is leash trained and can ride in a car without issues. His foster family is going to test him with more of a city environment this week. He hasn't been in a more noisy, residential environment. As you can see, the brothers have been fostered in the country. Hercules does well with younger children. He will need someone experienced in the Mastiff breed. He knows basic obedience but is a typical stubborn Mastiff. He will do things on his own time. He needs a firm but gentle hand and most of all, consistency. He would like a stay at home person as he will get into trouble if left alone too long.

If y ou are interested in Hercules or any of our fosters, please go to our website at www.mastiffrescueoregon.org, click on adoption info, and submit an application online.  Because the Mastiffs are in private homes, all meet and greets are only done with an application on file and an appointment.
