Basket Cutout
As the year comes to an end, it is time to reflect on 2012. In 2012 Mastiff Rescue Oregon has:

• Rescued 26 Mastiffs
• Of those 26, placed 24 in forever homes, including 2 long time fosters, and a returned girl, an additional 2 were lost to bone cancer before they found their forever home. (7 more needing homes)
• Facilitated several private adoptions
• Total Veterinary cost $16,467.00 (this does not include the cost of food and shelter)
15 of the 26 needed to be spayed/ne ... utered
All dogs received updated vaccines
Received microchips
Checked for health issues (parasites, heartworm, etc)
Repaired a torn ACL and 2 elbow surgeries
Treated one for Addison’s disease
Treated one for digestive issues

Mastiff Rescue operates on fundraising from 3 major fundraisers (2 rummage sales and Deponte Cellar’s wine event), Petco has participated with the “Breeds in Need” fundraiser and pictures with Santa. Carlton Veterinary Hospital provides wonderful veterinary care and Buchannan Cellars gives us discounts. We also have some wonderful doggie foster care providers that allow us to try and meet the needs of the dogs in need of a new home. It has been because of the support of all of you that we are able to rescue and place the dogs we do. All of us with Mastiff Rescue thank you for your support and wish you a Happy New Year.
